The Yerebuni Fortress is a 2,800-yr-old fortress dug up within the 1950s. In response to items of wall engravements, this fortress was inbuilt 781 B.C. Surrounding the fortress are picturesque views of the Mt. Ararat, Mt. Aragats, Mt. Ara and the Caucasus Area of Armenia. It’s a lovely escape from the push of the town of Yerevan. It takes round 1 hour 30 minutes to stroll and when you decide to take the taxi it takes round 12 minutes. For those who stroll you may be rewarded with a extra in depth view of the native life of Yerevan.
