Amazon has purchased its first fleet of plane, because the expertise large expands its rising air freight community.

The corporate bought 11 Boeing 767-300 planes from airways Delta and WestJet.

Beforehand, Amazon had relied on leased plane to fulfil its logistical wants.

An announcement defined the brand new planes would “help Amazon’s rising buyer base”.

Plane costs have plummeted over the previous 12 months as journey demand diminished amid various international lockdowns.
