Ashley took this photograph whereas visiting Oahu in November 2018. On this nice seize, you may see the united statesBattleship Missouri Memorial, also referred to as the Mighty Mo, to the left. Within the foreground, you may see the united statesArizona Memorial.

Many individuals see these two Pearl Harbor icons as representations of the beginning and end of World Conflict II from the United State’s perspective. The united statesArizona Memorial stands as a reminder of the assault on December 7, 1941, which in the end led to the United State’s full engagement within the battle. The united statesMissouri represents an finish to the battle, as a result of it was aboard this battleship that Japan signed the Instrument of Give up in Tokyo Bay on September 2, 1945.
