Noori Waterfall is positioned in Tial village, Haripur District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan. It’s positioned on the Haro River,[3] about 54 kilometers (34 mi) away from Islamabad, and about 60 kilometers (37 mi) from the district headquarters. It attracted the eye of vacationers in the summertime of 2020 after some hikers visited it and shared its footage and movies on social media.[1]
The waterfall is roughly 30 meters in top, and is positioned in an open cove-like formation on the facet of a hill. The waterfall is small in top and has a transparent blue water stream. The water drops right into a turquoise pond measuring roughly 80 by 120 ft. The cove is stuffed with waist-deep water with a sandy flooring which is deeper on the sides.
Domestically, the waterfall is named ‘Noori de tahand’ (Noori’s pond). There are a number of accounts as to the way it obtained its identify. The elders of neighboring villages attribute it to a girl named Noor Bibi, who drowned within the plunge pool of the waterfall. Others say the waterfall obtained its identify due to its milky look at evening. Nonetheless, some assume a tribe named Noori, now extinct, is the premise for the waterfall’s identify
