Three new members for ABTA board | News

ABTA has appointed three new administrators to its board.

Ruth Marshall, managing director of RCL Cruises; Garry Wilson, chief government of easyJet holidays; and Andrew Flintham, managing director of TUI Northern Area, will all take up new seats.

ABTA chairman, Alistair Rowland, stated: “We’re delighted to welcome Ruth and Garry onto the ABTA board for the primary time, and to welcome Andrew on his return.

“All three people have excellent backgrounds in journey. 

“RCL, TUI and easyJet holidays reveal the wide selection of companies inside ABTA membership, and are important suppliers to many different ABTA members.

“There has by no means been a extra essential time for various elements of the journey trade to work collectively behind a single organisation to hold our case to authorities, and to form the way forward for the trade as we emerge from the pandemic.”

Stuart Leven (RCL) and Richard Sofer (TUI) are stepping down from the board.

Rowland added: “I want to thank Stuart and Richard for his or her invaluable contributions to our board discussions over the latest years, as we have now labored to steer ABTA members, and ABTA itself, by means of the largest disaster the trade has confronted.”
