Spirit of Journey has made her arrival into Portsmouth forward of a prestigious naming ceremony.
Fortunate spectators caught a glimpse of Saga Cruises’ latest 236-metre boutique ship as she sailed into town early this morning.
The ship has a 500 sq. metre spa, the Lido out of doors pool, the Playhouse, a 444-seat theatre, and a big library.
Nick Stace, chief government of Saga Journey, mentioned: “Seeing Spirit of Journey at Portsmouth Worldwide Port for the primary time can be an actual second for Saga Cruises.
“She’ll be named there on July 19th – the primary new ship ever to have the honour on the port – which we’re all so trying ahead to.
“Portsmouth has been extremely welcoming of us and we’re very grateful for that.”
This historic event marks a big improvement for the port’s ambitions, as Spirit of Journey turns into the primary cruise ship naming ever to happen within the metropolis.
