Rosewood Motels & Resorts has been appointed by Mitsubishi Property to handle Rosewood Miyakojima on Mikayo Island within the Okinawan archipelago, Japan.

The property is ready to open in 2024. 

The 55-villa, ultra-luxury resort represents the primary Rosewood property in Japan, in a vacation spot acclaimed for its beautiful seashores with a number of of the nation’s most scenic areas. 

Miyako Island and close by isles provide miles of sentimental, white sand with countless vistas of turquoise-blue sea.

Aquatic adventures vary from snorkelling at Yabiji, the most important coral reef expanse in Japan, to diving via underwater caverns teeming with marine life and excellent deep-sea fishing. 

Approached via verdant sugar cane fields, Rosewood Miyakojima will occupy a secluded peninsula surrounded on three sides by white sand seashores, dramatic rock formations and beautiful ocean vistas. 

Arriving guests will really feel the sand beneath their ft inside a 20-minute drive from Miyako Airport and 30-minute drive from Shimojishima Airport which receives direct flights from Hong Kong and main cities in Japan.

The resort’s 55 villa lodging will characteristic personal swimming pools, landscaped gardens and unobstructed sea views.
