Proposals to redevelop Leeds Bradford Airport have hit a snag after the federal government sought extra time to judge the plans.
Plans to demolish current buildings and construct a brand new terminal had been accepted by Leeds Metropolis Council in February.
Nevertheless, communities secretary, Robert Jenrick, has now mentioned the £150 million growth would require additional evaluation.
Objectors to the mission mentioned it could contribute to local weather change.
