Seasoned hotelier Michael Koth has been appointed as basic supervisor of the long-lasting Emirates Palace, Abu Dhabi.
He may even take up the place of space vice chairman of operations, overseeing Mandarin Oriental Jumeira and the upcoming Mandarin Oriental Downtown, each in Dubai.
The latter is scheduled to open in 2021.
A German/Swiss nationwide, Koth is a pacesetter within the hospitality business, bringing a wealth of expertise and data spanning over 35 years.
Previous to the present position, he held a lot of senior management positions on the InterContinental Resort Group, together with basic supervisor of the InterContinental Doha.

The property is owned by Emirates Palace Firm, a subsidiary of the federal government of Abu Dhabi.
