Earlier than the summer season has begun, airBatlic is making ready for the approaching autumn, with the launch of latest flights to Tenerife in Spain.

The Latvian airline will provide flights from Riga from September 2nd.

The service mentioned it has plans to function the flights thrice per week with the Airbus A220-300 plane.

Martin Gauss, chief govt of airBaltic, mentioned: “Tenerife is the most important and hottest vacation spot within the Canary Islands and will likely be a superb addition to our improved route map, providing one other sunny, protected getaway for travellers from the Baltics.

“It is going to be one of many longest flights on our route map.

“We’re wanting ahead to the upcoming summer season season and we consider that the epidemiological scenario will enhance because the vaccination ranges improve.”

This summer season season airBaltic may even provide new protected connections between Riga and Heraklion (Greece), Santorini (Greece), Naples (Italy) and Edinburgh (United Kingdom).
