Cunard prepares for cruise return on Friday | News

The ultimate touches are being made to Cunard ship Queen Elizabeth because the cruise line prepares to return to crusing.

The UK-based line has been out of the water for 17-months following the Covid-19 pandemic.

Crew members are getting ready to depart on Friday.

The ship will first sail a sequence of UK voyages earlier than returning to worldwide sailings in October.

“I feel I communicate for all the crew at Cunard after I say how delighted we’re to be returning to what we do greatest as we get able to welcome our visitors again on board,” stated Cunard president, Simon Palethorpe.

“We all know how a lot our visitors have been wanting ahead to our first voyage and we hope that they absolutely immerse themselves within the Cunard on board expertise, as they get pleasure from among the most beautiful coastlines Britain has to supply.”

Following a sequence of different UK voyages, worldwide sailings on board Queen Elizabeth will start in October with a cruise from Southampton to Amsterdam adopted by a 14-night voyage to the Canary Islands and Madeira in November.
